The house lights go down. Five guys take the stage. Is that Whitesnake I hear? Wait… Now it’s Selena. How’d they do that? AC/DC and now Twisted Sister with violins and trumpets. The second you hear of a Metalachi show coming close to your city, GET TICKETS. It’s not that often I get to say this about a concert but it’s a genuinely fun show. What starts out as “Hey they’re playing Metallica” quickly turns into a venue-wide sing along. The Exchanges between violin virtuoso Maximilian “Dirty” Sanchez, Trumpet master and Crotch Thrust Extraordinaire – El Cucuy, and vocalist/chi chi inspector Vega De La Rockha will have you busting out laughing. The musicianship is top notch. Each member is a master of their instrument. Wether they’re covering Slayer’s “Raining Blood” or playing an original like the sensual Blood In/Blood Out inspired “Give Me Some Chon Chon”, I guarantee you’ll have a good time.
